INTERNSHIP

Church@thePark is seeking undergraduate students who are interested in working in a faith-based non-profit that works closely with with the unhoused community. This program will include an opportunity to understand the leadership and skills developed through working with our organization. Specific skills we look to develop in our interns are leading with an outward mindset, understanding what it means to work for a faith based non-profit, and developing skills that serve the unhoused community. We will provide the student with hands on experience working alongside the unhoused in a loving and accepting environment.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • College Undergraduate Student

  • Comfortable working in high crisis / fast-paced environment

  • Able to engage in a faith-based context

INTERNSHIP RHYTHM

  • Weekly check-in with supervisor

  • Weekly cohort meeting

  • Once a month Soul Care

  • Weekly meeting for Church@thePark area focus

  • 3A+ review (training, halfway mark, and end of internship)

INTERNSHIP TIMELINE

  • We are able to offer 10-12 week long internships throughout the year on a rolling application basis for fall, winter, spring, and summer.
